Tours

From Memorial Weekend through Labor Day, daily tours of the historic mine will be offered on the hour, 7 days a week. After Labor Day through the end of September,tours of the historic mine are offered daily at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Daily tours of the High Energy Physics Lab will be offered twice a day at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. After Labor Day through the end of September, tours of the High Energy Physics Lab will be offered once a day, seven days a week at noon.

Each tour is about an hour and 30 min. in length. The mine is cool year-round so bring a jacket! Fees (per person) for each tour: Adults - $10, Children 5-12 years old - $6, Children under 5 - No Charge.

Advance reservations can be made online or by phone through the reservation service. The reservation fee is $8.50 and up to 10 spots on a tour can be held with one reservation. Some spots on each tour are kept available on a first-come, first-served basis. Group tours are available year-round by reservation. Please call the park office to make a reservation for group tours.
