Visitor Center

Open 7 Days/Week

Handicapped accessible visitor center includes bathrooms, vending machines, interpretive displays, Nature Store, video wall and theater, touch screen kiosks and trail center. Open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily, with extended hours during the summer. Theater Rental (in visitor center): The theater is available to rent during regular business hours in winter months only. The room has chairs and tables for meetings. A rental fee of $45 plus tax is due when you make your reservation. Contact the park to reserve.

Historic Site

Throughout Park

Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) constructed log and stone buildings and structures. For more information on the CCC buildings and programs see the CCC display in the visitor center and on the Gateway Plaza, and ask for the CCC brochure at the visitor center.

Extensive inventory of gift items and books are available in the visitor center Nature Store. Store open 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., daily, year-round. Open extended hours in summer.
