Zumbro Bottoms Horse Campground-Central

Campground has reopened: Due to flood damage last year, the bridge that connects the Central (Main) Campgrounds to the North and West Assembly Area Campgrounds has been closed for safety reasons. In all likelihood it will be December 31, 2008 before a new bridge will be opened for use. There are 30 miles of trail open for use.

The campsite fee for state forest horse campgrounds is $15/night.

Zumbro Bottoms Horse Campground-West

Campground has reopened: Due to flood damage last year, the bridge that connects the Central (Main) Campgrounds to the North and West Assembly Area Campgrounds has been closed for safety reasons. In all likelihood it will be December 31, 2008 before a new bridge will be opened for use. There 10 miles of trail that can be accessed from the West campground, this campground can accommodate many more riders and horses, and will be your best option for camping.

The campsite fee for state forest horse campgrounds is $15/night.
