Historic air photos are seperated into the decade that they were acquired. You can turn on and off the various layers you wish to view. Each of these layers displays the approximate center of the image.   To display historic air photos turn on the layer of choice and zoom to your area of interest. To retrieve an image, select the INFO tool at the top right of the toolbar, and then select the image center point. A new window will be displayed that contains a thumbnail of the image. You can download the full resolution image from this window.  You can turn on any of the overlay and background layers to help you orient yourself and find your area of interest.
These images are part of a collection of 50,000+ scans that have been acquried through a cooperative effort including:

• McLeod County GIS Department
• St. Louis County Land Department, Resource Data Group
• Oblique photography was funded in part by the Coastal Zone Management Act, NOAA's office of Oceand and Coastal Resources Management, in cooperation with Minnesota's Lake Superior Coastal Program.
