October 2008 Land Sales

The DNR offered 28 parcels of land for sale at two auctions held October 21 and 23, 2008.

Two parcels that did not sell are available for over-the-counter purchase at the minimum bid price. One of these parcels (#38095) is in Lake County, and the other (#69538) is in St. Louis County. Interested parties should review the property data sheets posted below and the Instructions For Over-The-Counter Land Purchase and Terms and Conditions of Sale .

Fifteen parcels were offered for sale at an oral auction at the Lake County Courthouse on Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Of these fifteen parcels, two were sold:

SOLD for $14,830 ($0 over the minimum bid)

Sale #69531 - "New Independence"
40 acres (School Trust land)
SOLD for $34,940 ($0 over the minimum bid)

The other thirteen parcels were offered for sale through a sealed bid auction, and four of these parcels (listed below) were sold.

SOLD for $37,160 ($9,260 above the minimum bid price)
