Situation Update
Synopsis: No fires occurred during the past week. Cold temps and snow prevailed over most of MN the past week. Several RAWS (Remote Automated Weather Station) rain gauges have been covered for the winter. Canadian and National Fire Danger Rating System (NFDRS) Indices have been discontinued for the season. Have a safe and enjoyable winter! Prognosis: Winter conditions are expected until further notice. Statewide Planning Level will remain at IIA until adequate snow cover is received.

At Statewide Planning Level 2A, Incident Management Team B is on normal rotation. The Statewide Response Resources are not activated at Planning Level 2A.
