The development of Tomorrow's Habitat provided an opportunity for many conservation partners to work together to identify Minnesota wildlife species, and their habitats, that are in greatest conservation need (SGCN).

Tomorrow's Habitat outlines three goals and identifies key habitats and priority conservation actions for sustaining SGCN populations for future generations. The goals are:

  1. Stabilize and increase populations of SGCN
  2. Improve knowledge about SGCN
  3. Enhance people's appreciation and enjoyment of SGCN.
