Fish and wildlife habitat stamp contests are open to any Minnesota resident. If you are interested in entering the contest, download a contest-specific application (when it becomes available) from this page and submit it along with your artwork. Check the list of past winners.

Support fish and wildlife conservation by purchasing one of the stamps below. Stamps can be purchased in combination with a hunting or fishing license or for collectable purposes. Tim Turenne’s painting of two walleye, one chasing a jointed lure, was selected as the image for the 2010 Minnesota walleye stamp. The Richfield artist’s painting was selected from among 17 designs.

2010 contest results

Richard Goodkind of St. Louis Park won the 2010 Minnesota Trout and Salmon Stamp design contest with an autumn scene depicting a brook trout feeding on a mayfly within the waters of a beaver pond in northeastern Minnesota. Goodkind's oil painting was selected from among 29 entries.
